The new steakhouse concept here at the Pear Tree Inn is simple yet wonderful, as you can imagine. Marco Pierre White teamed up with Royal Butcher Donald Russell over ten years ago. Donald, like Marco, is a perfectionist when it comes to his beef and will only select from cattle purely fed on a natural, grass-based diet. The result is succulent, tender and award-winning steaks with unmistakable flavour.
The refined steak menu here at The Pear Tree includes an 8oz fillet, 10oz sirloin, rib eye and rump as well The Butchers steak and a hearty 16oz T-bone for those larger appetites! There´s also a selection of MPW classics including his famous breast of Gressingham duck and fillet of Severn & Wye salmon – you can even still dine on fresh Dover sole if you place your order 24 hours in advance. In lieu of hors d´oeuvre, Marco has created a range of fresh and delicious salads for you to enjoy ‘on the house’ while you´re waiting for your perfectly cooked steak. To finish you can choose from a range of refreshing sorbets, glaces and granitas, while cheese lovers can linger over a whole baked vacherin or brie with an ample pile of artisan crisp breads.
